Company History

Grainnovation was founded in 1988 in Nashville, Tennessee to make corn breading and specialty food extrusion ingredients. In 1991, Grainnovation began manufacturing corn and rice extruded products for Sage V Foods (formerly Comet Rice). As business expanded, Grainnovation formed a strategic partnership with Sage V Foods. In order to increase manufacturing efficiency, the company relocated from Nashville to Freeport, Texas in 1996.
